The hotel had traditional Japanese style decor with very comfortable futons, and the outdoor onsen was a tranquil and relaxing experience amidst a beautiful garden. The staff was hospitable and met our every need with a smile.
The hotel was a bit difficult to find and was located far from the train station. vegetarian meal options were not available for my wife.

This tranquil accommodation is a great option when exploring the beautiful countryside of Kyushu. Opposite a hospital, the location is ideal to escape the city noise and enjoy nature. You can soak in one of the two indoor or outdoor onsen while listening to the birds singing in the garden. the rooms are spacious and decorated in the traditional Japanese style. the hospitable staff serve a delicious breakfast, and you can enjoy home-brewed sake with your meal.
It's hard to find dinner options nearby, so it's best to book ahead or bring your own food.

The food was delicious, and the staff was helpful. the private outdoor hot spring bath was a luxurious and relaxing experience. the location was remote, but the effort to get there was worth it for the peaceful atmosphere.
The location was a bit difficult to find, and it was not signposted. Without a car, it was a challenge to find open restaurants nearby.
